Research Reflection

Question 1:

The biggest issue that I have faced in my research project would have to be understanding word press.  I’m also having difficulty on what my content should be about and how and what to write. Sources that are reliable are easy to find for me, but extorting the content to post on my blog has become a difficult challenge. I have yet to post on my pages wondering what to put.  Word press scared me a lot and really challenged me to understand the internet a lot better.  Before the research project I never heard of a widget.  Turns out it like an app for the iPhone.  However, besides that I’m feeling fine on everything else.

    question #2
I feel confident in posting some content on my website as i have taken notes on most of my sources. I feel a little stressed out from this already but i know that i can make up for lost time by working this weekend. By the end of the weekend i will have my all my notes done and a rough draft of all my tabs. My interview will also be done so until i get there I’m making up for lost time.

    Question #3
When we had the sub on Friday, I fixed what kind of content I’m putting by organizing my pages. My pages cover human trafficking effectively and accurately. On my homepage I explain human trafficking very broadly and introduce the other pages on my blog. My tabs are origin and destination, the cycle of human trafficking (which refers to the typical guidelines for it to be called human trafficking), my memoir, and other true stories. Along with those I have my reflection and bibliography. I believe this is enough to cover my topic as each section will answer the most frequent asked questions with detail.

#1: The most impressive thing with your website is the writing pieces you wrote. They have minimal errors and are all beneficial to your overall research project. The photos also aid for the reader to realize the tragedy of human trafficking. you aslo talked about the pictures and graphs in your writing pieces.

#2: I think you could have talked more about your memoir. You could have tied it together with your other pages. You also could have added more hyperlinks since you used many statistics from many sources.

#3: The organization makes great sense. Everything is where it should be. I find the website very comfortable to navigate through. The black header is very appropriate since your topic is very sober.

    1. My favorite part was the “Devastating Stories” page. It was very interesting.
    2. It would help if you added more pictures, so that we could better understand your topic.
    3. The structure was good. It was in order, and made sense.
